About us

Starr International Trading, Inc. was started in 2003 by Malin and Francois Starr with the vision of creating a quality company to manufacture and promote innovative products.  Majority of our sales are done at Home and garden shows, sports shows, festivals we have always believed that county Fairs and State Fairs are the best place to launch and showcase our new unique products.  Many of the products that we launch gets demonstrated at the fairs are later sold on TV and big box stores and goes on to become household names.  

We can proudly say….All products we sell we love and are using them in our own home.

  1. I purchased The Perfect Wine Opener at the Texas State Fair in October. On the second use, the needle went up into the back sleeve and won’t come down. The salesperson said it has a lifetime warranty. How do I get it replaced?

      • I Purchased your Perfect Wine opener at the Minnesota State Fair in 2017. It stopped working after the third use (would not develop any pressure). I searched the internet trying to find a contact to see about getting a replacement, and the email address I sent my request to never responded. Another family member I had told my story to went to the Minnesota State Fair this year and gave me your website address, so I am attempting to contact you again. My Perfect Wine Opener is still not working and I still would like a replacement. Thank you for hearing my request. I await your reply.

    And there was no confirmation of the purchase, but if the VISA charge, your page gave me an error.
    Please I ask you acleries if the formalized well the sale as a my VISA.

  3. Hello. I purchased your Air Pump Wine opener last year at the Fair. It now has stopped working. The pressure in the pump is now gone. Please advise.

  4. bought wine opener at san diego fair 6-24-18. Opener did not work at all. piece of junk. will be calling the fair and making a formal complaint about allowing this company to sell to unsuspecting buyers.

  5. We were at the San Diego Fair and purchased one of the oso sharp razor sharpeners. Came home and used it on a razor that was very dull. It revived it as promised. Would like to purchase 2 more but they are not on your website. Please advise how to get hold of two more of these great new products!

  6. I purchased the perfect wine opener at the pne last year late August in vancouver bc canada only used twice the part that takes air out of the bottles broke inside the bottle got it out of the bottle with great difficulty but now I can’t use anymore what do I do now

    On August 10th, 2018, at the Orange County CA Fair, we purchased 6 wine kits, with a promise to ship the next day. They didn’t arrive until 2 weeks and several texts later. The contact person’s voicemail was full. We got in touch via text. When the shipment did arrive, it was missing all of the promotional add-ons: two corks and a chiller per kit purchased. We are disappointed and feel like we got hustled at the OC Fair.

WINE OPENER KIT: Horrible product – total junk, do not purchase. 2 of the vacuum stoppers i bought and the aerator broke. the vacuums broke in exactly the same manner, taking them out of a cold bottle i pulled from the fridge. the aerator also broke while removing from the bottle. I would like a full refund of the $50 I paid at the Orange County Fair in California.

  15. My daughter and I both purchased the wine opener. I had to wait until she came over since it was not working for me and I asked her to try. She said it was defective since hers worked on three pumps. I tried at least a dozen times and would still not work. Since it has a warranty I would like it replaced.

  16. the person who sold me the perfect wine opener at the MN State Fair stated that you could buy a big bottle of wine, remove the air with the vacuum stopper, then lay that big bottle down in the fridge to preserve it. I did this and had wine oozing out.. is the product faulty or is this untrue.. the stoppers were 80% of the reason for buying the product primarily for the purpose of being able to lay it down in my tiny fridge.

    • We do apologize. The stoppers are made for the 75cl bottles. That was shown on the booth. Please contact the office for any question you might have

  17. I have pretty much worn out my o so sharp knife sharpener, I have had it for years, just not what it used to be . but it does have a lifetime warranty, how do I go about replacing it ? Great product, the number I have 1-661-296-4744 does not work.

  18. I purchased the Wine Opener product in the LA Fair and tried using it in 2 different bottles and didn’t work at all, I wasted too much time trying to use your product when it doesn’t even work. How do I get my money back, do I go back to the stand at the LA Fair.

    • yes but we do recommend hot water in the sink with soap .
      The opener, you do not want to put in the dishwasher, it removes the grease on the post that pumps.

  19. I would like to get an update on the status of my order. we purchased 5 wine openers (and the sales rep included one at no charge with free shipping) at the MN state fair (August 29, 2018). PLease let us know the status of shipping that order.

  20. I purchased the Perfect Wine Opener at the California State Fair but came with no instructions how to open a bottle of wine (which makes it now so “perfect”) please provide me with the method that looked quite easy in the demo

  21. I have a stream daddy. I was doing a factory reset . and my TV apps store is blank. Also it says my teck tools need to be upgraded. But this is hard to do with the TV apps store not having anything to pick. Please help, because I love my stream daddy and miss it sooo.

    • Im so sorry Brennan. Streamdaddy was our life for 3+ years but the owner of the Box decided he didn’t want to continue programing and doing the up keep.we also love this box .

  23. I feel like such an idiot right now! I just bout twonkits for $108 and brighter opener works in a real cork! I bought on for my dad and was so exited and. Ow I don’t know what to do. I even went to the redribbonwine website and it’s not even legit! Makes me not wanna trust people. I want my money back or one that works.
